  • Cleaning upholstery is an integral part of our complete home cleaning program, and upholstery cleaning is a major component in total quality of your indoor air.

  • Our cleaning specialists carefully inspect the fabric and construction of each piece of furniture before selecting the cleaning method best suited to your material. Exclusive Bridgepoint or Bane-Clene formulations provide the safest, most effective cleaning available to extend the life of your investment.

  • Tru-Clean has the expertise to clean virtually every type of upholstery fabric in existence, including difficult materials like jacquard, velvet and Haitian cotton.

  • We make sure that no effort is spared when delivering the best carpet and upholstery cleaning service to you - our Client.

Our Upholstery service includes:

  1. Pre-inspection - Our technician will examine the upholstery extensively and document all pre-existing conditions. Inspect for damage and possible problems. Look for loose buttons, tears, holes, loose legs, mold, etc.

  2. Identify fibers - Tru-Clean Carpet & Tile Care does not use a "one cleaning solution fits all" solution when cleaning customer's upholstery. Our technician will perform a test on your upholstery to identify the exact fibers and once they are identified, we will proceed with the industry recommended standard for cleaning your upholstery.

  3. Pre-Test - Prior to the actual cleaning process, we will pre-test a small hidden area of your upholstery to make certain that there are no bleeds or browning. The pre-test also allows our technician the opportunity to test the pH of the chemicals and how they interact with your fibers.

  4. Furniture Pad - In every instance, our technicians will use furniture pads to make certain that no over-spray reaches your carpeting or other flooring.

  5. Vacuum - The appropriate cleaning process is determined directly by the results of the pre-testing process. Once complete and the cleaning system is chosen, we will thoroughly vacuum your furniture to remove all foreign particles.

  6. Precondition - This process involves the application of the cleaning ingredients directly to the upholstery. This process is designed to break up food spills and other protein-based soils.

  7. Cleaning - This process involves gentle agitation to remove dislodged particles and to apply a mild "greencleaning detergent. We clean and then flush all cleaning solutions from the fabric. Our cleaning process leaves no dirt-attracting residues which can prematurely resoil your upholstery.

  8. Deodorize - Our cleaning process contains a mild odor neutralizer and in most cases leaves fabrics smelling fresh and clean. In those instances where the upholstery has been exposed to a smoker's home or has become the favorite lounging spot for pets, we will apply a stronger deodorizer and bactericide upon homeowner's approval.

  9. Dry - Once the fabric protector has been applied, we will groom the fabric and utilize truck mounted or high vacuum extraction to leave fabric as dry as possible for minimum drying time.

"THANK YOU for the upholstery cleaning you performed on my furniture last week. Of special importance to me were the rocking chair and the blue couch because these belong to my mother for over 20 years. When your guys left, I sat back and cried because they never looked so good."
